clawbot e48308c5b6 fix: the first wallet's first address is active as soon as it is added (closes #512)
check / check (push) Waiting to run
e2e / e2e-chrome (push) Waiting to run
e2e / e2e-firefox (push) Waiting to run
The popup picked an active address only when it opened, so after the first
wallet was created nothing was active until a reopen: Home had no headline,
and Send and Receive refused. Each of the three import paths on AddWallet now
makes the new wallet's first address active when no address is. When the
phrase or xprv scan then replaces the address list with one that leaves that
address out, the new list's first address becomes active and the background
is told, as when the user picks an address on Home. The address scan stand-in
in the popup test boot now answers in the real scan's shape, which the phrase
and xprv imports read.

clawbot aa10a2a5f5 fix: each browser-suite run builds and removes an image of its own (closes #547)
check / check (push) Waiting to run
e2e / e2e-chrome (push) Waiting to run
e2e / e2e-firefox (push) Waiting to run
script/test-e2e and script/test-e2e-firefox tagged their image with one
fixed name. When two clones ran a suite at once, the second build moved
that tag, the image store deleted the first run's now-untagged image, and
that suite exited 125 without running a test. Each run now tags its image
with the suite's name and twelve random hex digits and runs it by that
tag. The cleanup that runs on exit, Ctrl-C, kill and a closed terminal
removes the run's container if docker's client left it running, then the
image. The image-ID file that guarded against a moving tag is gone.
README.md's End-to-End Tests section says which endings clean up.

clawbot 2c0888e112 fix: approval windows open as wide as the page (closes #518)
check / check (push) Waiting to run
e2e / e2e-chrome (push) Waiting to run
e2e / e2e-firefox (push) Waiting to run
The approval window opened 360 pixels wide while the page is 396, cutting
off the Reject button; it now opens at 396. The browser counts the
window's frame in that width, and a tall screen gives some of it to a
vertical scrollbar, so once the approval's screen is up the page widens
its own window by however far it would scroll sideways, times the zoom of
its own tab. Firefox draws some zoom steps a little larger than it
reports, so the page measures again after each widening, three times at
most. The toolbar popup's window is left alone. The Firefox suite checks
that the sign prompt fits at 170%. README's Visual Style line now gives
the page's real width.

A page with an opaque origin, such as one its server sandboxes with a
Content-Security-Policy, is reported to the background with the origin
"null", and Chrome reports a local file as "file://". The background took
either as a site, so every such page was one site: a connection remembered
for one covered them all, and the phishing check never matched. The
background now parses the reported origin and, when it has no host, refuses
the request with 4100 like one with no origin, before any method runs.
tests/rpcOrigin.test.js sends both, and README's SiteApproval says what is

clawbot 70a41ed70e fix: typed data with a missing field or a bool that is not true or false is refused (closes #552)
check / check (push) Waiting to run
e2e / e2e-chrome (push) Waiting to run
e2e / e2e-firefox (push) Waiting to run
ethers signs a bool field by whether its value is truthy, so the string
"false" was shown as false and signed as true, and a bool field left out
was shown as nothing and signed as false. The sign screen now refuses
typed data whose message leaves out a declared field, at any level of
nesting, or holds a bool that is not true or false: the error line names
the field and Sign is disabled. The background refuses a signature for it
too. Presence is an own-key test, so a field named like a built-in
property such as constructor is not found by accident. signedPrimaryType()
moves to the shared module so the background reads the message as the
same type.

clawbot f9f32ab32d fix: a slow answer to an approval still reaches the site (closes #540)
check / check (push) Waiting to run
e2e / e2e-chrome (push) Waiting to run
e2e / e2e-firefox (push) Waiting to run
Chrome stopped the background worker about six minutes after a site's
request even with the approval window open, and the approval and the
site's waiting request went with it. Every approval is now added through
addPendingApproval(), which starts a timer in the worker that calls
runtime.getPlatformInfo() every 20 seconds while any approval is
pending; Chrome counts each call as activity.

tests/e2e/slowApproval.js, run by make test-e2e, leaves a transaction
and a signature approval open for seven minutes in minimized windows and
requires the site to receive both results. It drives Chromium over the
DevTools pipe because Playwright keeps DevTools attached to the worker.
Its loopback dApp server, shared with the Firefox suite, moves to
tests/e2e/dapp.js.

clawbot bad6494e43 fix: a V4 swap action not in the deployed shape is shown as not decoded (closes #358)
check / check (push) Waiting to run
e2e / e2e-chrome (push) Waiting to run
e2e / e2e-firefox (push) Waiting to run
The four V4 swap actions are read only as the structs deployed on mainnet
and Sepolia. ethers read the newer v4-periphery structs, which add
minHopPriceX36, as the deployed ones, and the newer multi-hop exact-in
struct showed the offset of its hop-price array as the swap amount. A
decode now counts only when encoding it again gives back the same bytes.
A swap action that fails that marks its step "V4 Swap (could not be
decoded)", and a side its SETTLE or TAKE did not name reads "Unknown
(could not be decoded)". The wait and error screens no longer show the
ETH value as the amount of a swap whose amount was not read, unless the
swap is paid in native ETH.

transaction approval and a signature approval open for seven minutes with both

an approval is pending, Chrome stopped it about six minutes in and neither
request was ever answered
([#540](https://git.eeqj.de/sneak/AutistMask/issues/540)). The windows are
minimized through the DevTools protocol (`Browser.setWindowBounds`), and the run
fails unless both pages then report themselves hidden: Chrome slows a hidden
page's timers to once a minute, so anything the window did to keep the worker
running would fail here. It is its own program and does not use Playwright:
Playwright keeps DevTools attached to the background worker, and Chrome never
stops a worker DevTools is attached to, so no wait in the suite above can show
the worker stopping. It starts Chromium itself, speaks the DevTools protocol
over `--remote-debugging-pipe`, and attaches to pages only. Before raising the
approvals it requires the worker to stop on its own with nothing pending, so a
run in which something else keeps the worker running fails. The site is
connected and the RPC endpoint set through the extension's own screens, against
the loopback dApp page and stub node the Firefox suite also uses

Pending approvals are the exception: an approval waiting for the user, and the
site's request waiting on it, live only in the worker's memory, and only the
worker that received the request can answer it. Left alone, Chrome stopped the
worker about six minutes after a site's request even with the approval window
still open, and the user's answer then reached nobody. So the worker keeps
itself running while any approval is pending: every approval is added through
`addPendingApproval()`, which starts a `setInterval` that calls
`runtime.getPlatformInfo()` every 20 seconds, and Chrome counts each extension
call as activity. The timer stops itself once nothing is pending, and the worker
then stops as it otherwise would. The timer is the worker's own, so it does not
depend on the approval window being visible; a timer in the window would,
because Chrome slows a hidden page's timers to once a minute. A worker that
stops for another reason, a crash say, still loses the approvals open in it.
The balance refresh carries a freshness guard, and a guard must never be timed

// A transaction approval and a signature approval the user leaves open for
// seven minutes, their windows minimized, are still answered, and the site
// receives both results (https://git.eeqj.de/sneak/AutistMask/issues/540).
//
// Both approvals, and the site's requests waiting on them, live only in the
// background worker's memory. With nothing else going on, Chrome stopped that
// worker about six minutes after the site's request, while the window was
// still open, and the user's answer then reached nobody. While an approval is
// pending, the worker now makes an extension call every 20 seconds, which
// keeps it running (addPendingApproval() in src/background/index.js). The
// windows are minimized for the wait because
// Chrome slows a hidden page's timers to once a minute after a few minutes,
// so anything the window itself did to keep the worker running would fail
// here.
//
// A separate program from run.js, and not driven by Playwright: Playwright
// keeps DevTools attached to the background worker, and Chrome never stops a
// worker DevTools is attached to, so in run.js the worker outlives any wait
// and a wait there proves nothing. This program starts Chromium itself and
// speaks the DevTools protocol over the pipe Chromium opens for it
// (--remote-debugging-pipe), attaching to pages only, never to the worker.
// Before the approvals are raised it watches the worker stop on its own, so a
// run in which something else keeps the worker running cannot pass.
//
// The dApp page and the stub node are the loopback ones the Firefox suite also
// uses (tests/e2e/dapp.js). The site is connected and the node chosen
// through the extension's own screens, so nothing is written to its storage
// from outside.
