Found by the reviewer of #268, unrelated to that change and present before it: at a 390 px wide window, the "by @sneak" text in the top bar runs into the "New App" button.
Definition of done:
At narrow widths (390 px and up to the point where the top bar has room), nothing in the top bar overlaps: the items wrap, shrink or hide by design, and every control stays usable.
Before and after screenshots at 390 px and a desktop width, taken in a headless browser against a local build, attached to the PR.
PR to next, independent review that loads the page itself and runs make check and docker build . on the rebased head, squash.
