Part of sneak/project-management#19. Owner's words (chat, 2026-10-01 ~22:39 UTC): "update all repos and memories to no longer include buildarch in the makefile - the build architecture is available at runtime from the stdlib and doesn't need to be passed in."
Here: the Makefile, cmd/upaasd/main.go, internal/globals/globals.go and CONVENTIONS.md on next carry it.
Definition of done: no buildarch anywhere in the repo (a case-insensitive grep is empty). Anything that reports the architecture reads runtime.GOARCH at run time. The Buildarch variable and field are removed. CONVENTIONS.md matches the updated sneak/prompts conventions. PR to next, independent review, squash.

Done in #265: the build no longer passes the architecture; the startup log line reports runtime.GOARCH as arch, and CONVENTIONS.md drops Buildarch the same way the sneak/prompts change did.
CONVENTIONS.md follows prompts' next branch (sneak/prompts#67), since its main still has Buildarch until sneak/prompts#68 merges.
