clawbot	c0dd1d140f	Serve a cache hit with no database read or write (closes #309) ... A hit opens the variant file and nothing else: its content type comes from the file's first bytes, and a file in no output format is a miss. Its access time and hit count, and the access time of a cached source a miss uses, go without waiting to the goroutine that wrote late counts, which now writes them all once a second; each kind of access time waits in a channel of 10,000 that drops the rest. checkNegativeCache leaves expired rows to CleanExpired. The .meta files, metaCache, Lookup and golang-lru go, with their tests. Dropping the .meta skip made the variant and source reconciliation walks identical, so they share one. make bench runs a parallel cache hit benchmark on the host, outside make check. clawbot	a19cca2f34	Store a source the way a variant is stored, one row and one file per source URL (closes #308) ... A source is now one source_content row and one file named by its SourceKey, the SHA-256 of its host, path and query, made as the variant key is. A store writes the file, then upserts the row, and removes the file when the row cannot be written; an eviction deletes the row, then the file, with no lock. source_metadata, the JSON files under cache/metadata/, MetadataStorage, the content lock, the eviction transaction and its test hook are gone, as is the reconciliation pass that dropped a source row whose file is missing. Two source URLs serving the same bytes store them twice. Model: opus-5-5	2026-10-21 16:31:33 +02:00
clawbot	00d8ba26c5	One image request type instead of five (closes #307) ... The new package internal/imagerequest holds the request type, its two parts Source and Transform, the Format and Fit types, the dimension and fit checks, the /v1/image/ path parsing and the variant key; it imports no other package of pixa. imgcache.ParsedURL, imgcache.ImageRequest, signature.Request, imageprocessor.Request, the second Size, format and fit types and the conversions between them are gone. The image processor takes a Transform only. encurl keeps a private struct with the token's short CBOR field names. VariantKey moves with the function that makes it. Tests follow the moved and renamed code; the tests of the removed conversions go with them. Model: opus-5-5	2026-10-21 14:41:07 +02:00
clawbot	2ab96155ba	Sync cached files and refuse ones left empty or partial (closes #252) ... A crash could leave a cached source or transformed image empty or cut short, and pixa then served it, or fetched it again forever. Source and transformed image files, and the .meta file beside each transformed image, are now written under a temporary name, synced, renamed into place and their directory synced; a failed directory sync removes the renamed file. The reconciliation pass compares each cached file's size with the size its row records and removes a file that is empty or of another size, with its rows and a warning. Requests compare no sizes. Not verified by a test: the syncs, and the removal after a failed sync. Model: opus-5-5	2026-10-15 19:27:33 +02:00
