The dated history entry in TODO.md for #31 named the removed build-architecture global by its identifier. That was the last mention of the word in the tree. The entry now says "removed the build-architecture global", so git grep -i buildarch comes back empty and the history still records what that issue removed.
No code reports the architecture, so nothing needed to read it at run time.
