sneak 82a5df4688 Make **/ in an exclude pattern match zero directories (closes #338)
check / check (push) Waiting to run
The glob library needs a slash on both sides of **, so the anchored
pattern /**/x missed an x directly under the snapshot path, and
a/**/*.log missed a/x.log. As in gitignore, a leading **/ now makes any
pattern, anchored or not, match at every depth, and a pattern holding
/**/ is also compiled with each /**/ made a single slash. The library's
{a,b} alternatives cannot express this: with ** inside them in
mid-pattern they miss paths they should match.

Judgement call: the test for a/**/b uses a/**/*.log, because with a
plain name after the ** the glob library already matched a/b.

clawbot 4193ced1f6 Report blobs shallow verify could not check apart from missing ones (closes #318)
check / check (push) Waiting to run
Shallow snapshot verify counted every error from checking a blob or the
encrypted database as "missing" and printed the error nowhere, so a
permission error or an S3 403 read as data loss. Now only a not-found
answer from storage counts as missing. Any other error is reported as
could not be checked, with the error storage returned, in the text
report and under --json (the new unchecked list and
database_check_error field), and the run fails. Under --quiet, which
drops the report, each of those errors is logged as a warning on
stderr.

The database check moved into its own small function because the verify
function was at the linter's length limit.

# Completed Steps
- 2026-10-13: Made a `file://` destination list through a symlinked
directory ([issue #296](https://git.eeqj.de/sneak/vaultik/issues/296)).
A `metadata/` or `blobs/` directory that was a symlink to a directory
elsewhere was listed as one file, so the destination store listed as
empty while backups and restores still worked through the link.
`prune` then removed the local snapshot records and deleted every blob,
and `remote info` and `remote nuke` found no blobs. The listings now
read through the link as `Get` and `Stat` do. A link whose target is
missing, such as one to a volume that is not mounted, or a link
pointing back up the tree makes them fail.
- 2026-10-13: Stopped `remote info` counting a file under `blobs/` that
is not a blob as an orphaned blob
