Docker does not apply .dockerignore to a build context sent as a tar,
so upaas sent every file in the clone. The build now reads the ignore
file as docker build does, with the ignorefile reader of
moby/patternmatcher: <Dockerfile>.dockerignore next to the Dockerfile
if there is one, otherwise .dockerignore at the root. As Docker does,
the Dockerfile path is read as a path inside the clone, and when a
Dockerfile named Dockerfile is missing, a lowercase dockerfile next to
it is used instead. As the docker command line does, the Dockerfile and
.dockerignore are never left out. The ignore file is read through
os.Root. An ignore file that cannot be read, or a malformed pattern,
fails the build.
Model: opus-5-5
App names may now contain dots, such as sneak.berlin: runs of
lowercase letters and numbers joined by single dots or by hyphens,
2 to 63 characters. Docker accepts every such name in the app's image
name, upaas-<name>; a dot needs a letter or number on both sides
because Docker requires it. The rule also keeps a dot off either end,
so the name is safe as a directory and log file name.
The new and edit app forms use the same pattern. Their old one was not
a valid regular expression under the flag browsers compile it with, so
browsers ignored it.
Model: opus-5-5
Multi-stage app builds left an untagged image for every build stage after each deploy, and nothing could safely remove them. upaas now asks Docker for a BuildKit build, which keeps stages in Docker's build cache instead of as images; Docker limits and cleans that cache itself. The final image is still tagged `upaas-<app>:<N>`, so old-image cleanup is unchanged. BuildKit's progress messages are decoded and written to the deployment log as plain text.
Deviation: adds `github.com/moby/buildkit` v0.16.0 (matching the pinned Docker client), added with `go get` since no make target adds dependencies.
Judgement call: the cache limit is on by default only from Docker Engine 28.2; older engines need the `daemon.json` setting the README now names.
Model: opus-5-5
Changes the Go module path from `git.eeqj.de/sneak/upaas` to `sneak.berlin/go/upaas`.
All import paths in Go files updated accordingly. `go mod tidy` and `make check` pass cleanly.

Add gorilla/csrf middleware to protect all HTML-serving routes against
cross-site request forgery attacks. The webhook endpoint is excluded
since it uses secret-based authentication.
Changes:
- Add gorilla/csrf v1.7.3 dependency
- Add CSRF() middleware method using session secret as key
- Apply CSRF middleware to all HTML route groups in routes.go
- Pass CSRF token to all templates via addGlobals helper
- Add {{ .CSRFField }} / {{ $.CSRFField }} hidden inputs to all forms
Closes#11
- Replace UUID with ULID for app ID generation (lexicographically sortable)
- Remove container_id column from apps table (migration 002)
- Add upaas.id Docker label to identify containers by app ID
- Implement FindContainerByAppID in Docker client to query by label
- Update handlers and deploy service to use label-based container lookup
- Show system-managed upaas.id label in UI with editing disabled
Container association is now determined dynamically via Docker label
rather than stored in the database, making the system more resilient
to container recreation or external changes.
