Per repo policies, every repo must have a comprehensive .gitignore covering OS files (.DS_Store), editor files (.swp, *~), language build artifacts, and node_modules/. The standard .gitignore should be fetched from https://git.eeqj.de/sneak/prompts/raw/branch/main/.gitignore
