itself prompted by one. The test suite and the README smoke test use trees
of a dozen files. Memory use of report and trees
(#14), non-TTY progress under
cron (#13) and interrupt
handling (#5) are exactly the
things that only show up there.
Only the owner has the hardware, so this is his to run.
Definition of done

a build of main runs on the real server: a first full scan,
a second scan the next day, then report and trees.
