The test file on main matched next before that change, so nothing else differs from main.
Measured test time: 876 ms under the shared build lock, and 1614 ms outside it on a busy host (load average about 60 on 48 cores). The timeout it hit on main was at 5.4 s.

That came close to vitest's 5 s limit and timed out on a busy host, which made `script/cibuild` fail on `next` and `main`. It now uses a noisy 64x48 JPEG, still too big for the first, default-quality encoding to fit, and keeps every assertion. It runs in about 1 s.
