Applied the copyediting checklist to the document itself:

  • Removed triple construction from opening line ("structural, lexical, and rhetorical")
  • Collapsed staccato burst in Elevated Register Drift (seven matching-length sentences) into one flowing sentence
  • Cut trailing "for that reason" clause in em-dash overuse section
  • Removed filler "ever" from parenthetical qualifier section
