Milestone branch for 1.0.0. Accumulates one squashed commit per closed issue; next is kept green and mergeable to main at any time, without notice.

Landed so far:

  • chore: root .editorconfig and hardened .gitignore — #15
  • build: Dockerfile.backend multistage lint stage — #17
  • fix: wrap per-host status line so 320px viewport does not scroll — #42
  • fix(frontend): meet the 44x44 minimum tap target on every control — #43

Still to land on next, each its own PR based on next, squash-merged here on a passed review: #44, #38, #31.
