The swap decoder's lines for a WRAP_ETH now state what the calldata does.
A WRAP_ETH into the router always reads Moved to: The router. That is true whichever step then takes the WETH. Other takes keep The swap step that spends it.
A later WRAP_ETH of CONTRACT_BALANCE to anyone but the router gets Moved from the sender: All the ETH the transaction carries, Token moved and Moved to with the recipient.
What the diff does not show:
This goes further than the first item of the definition of done of #747, by the decision at #750 (comment). A WRAP_ETH whose WETH a later swap step spends also reads The router.
A V3 exact-in followed by a WRAP_ETH of CONTRACT_BALANCE to the sender now gets the lines. No Uniswap route does this: a V3 step cannot pay the router ETH.
Judgement call: that WRAP_ETH gets no lines after an UNWRAP_WETH into the router, or while the router holds ETH from a V4 step. Uniswap's SDK pays back unspent ETH this way, to whichever recipient the swap names, so the calldata cannot show the difference. Such a shape sent by anyone else still shows only Paid to and Value, as on next.
Judgement call: the line does not count what an earlier step already took of the transaction's ETH, so a second such WRAP_ETH reads the same though it pays nothing.
Unverified: nothing was run on a chain, and the SDK was read from its main branch.

The swap decoder's lines for a `WRAP_ETH` now state what the calldata does.
- A `WRAP_ETH` into the router always reads `Moved to: The router`. That is true whichever step then takes the WETH. Other takes keep `The swap step that spends it`.
- A later `WRAP_ETH` of `CONTRACT_BALANCE` to anyone but the router gets `Moved from the sender: All the ETH the transaction carries`, `Token moved` and `Moved to` with the recipient.

Review of #750 against #747: fails, four findings.
1. src/shared/uniswap.js, lines 1325, 1477 and 2572: The swap step that spends it can still be false.
The line compares each WRAP_ETH with the last swap step paid from the router's WETH, but that swap step may spend different WETH. Take a V3 exact-in of 600 USDT, a WRAP_ETH of 1 ETH into the router, a SWEEP of that WETH to another address, a second WRAP_ETH of 1 ETH into the router, then a V3 exact-in paid from the router's WETH. The first WRAP_ETH reads The swap step that spends it, though the SWEEP paid its WETH away. An UNWRAP_WETH to the sender in place of the SWEEP reads the same. This is the defect the issue reports, and it breaks the first item of its definition of done.
Acceptable:
Replace lastRouterWethSwapStep with a list of the WRAP_ETH step indexes whose WETH the router holds, and a set of spent steps.
A swap step paid from the router's WETH adds every index on the list to the set.
At the end of each step, if heldByRouter no longer has WETH, empty the list.
The line reads The swap step that spends it only for a step in the set.
Add the same row with command 0x0c and encodeWrapEth(MSG_SENDER, 0n) in place of the SWEEP.
2. README.md line 1420, src/shared/uniswap.js line 1963 and the commit message: false sentence.
"unless an earlier step paid ETH to the router" and "After an earlier step paid ETH to the router there is no line" are not what the code does. After a V4 TAKE of ETH into the router and a SWEEP of that ETH, the lines appear.
Acceptable: the README reads "A later WRAP_ETH of CONTRACT_BALANCE to anyone but the router gets these lines. It gets none after an UNWRAP_WETH into the router, or while the router holds ETH from a V4 step." The code comment and the commit message say the same.
3. tests/uniswap.test.js lines 2478-2479: false sentence.
"On next every other row added that ETH to the Amount line, or read it as an exact amount" now covers the row at line 2676, whose mark this change removed. On next that row reads that ETH as Unknown (could not be decoded).
Acceptable: after "The row marked "reads as on next" reads the same on next.", add "The row with a SETTLE_ALL of at most 3 ETH read that ETH as not known on next." Keep the sentence after it.
4. tests/uniswap.test.js, the table after line 3102: no test of "anyone but the router".
No test depends on the !isRouter(w.recipient) condition at src/shared/uniswap.js line 1956. The one row with such a WRAP_ETH gets no lines from a different condition.
Acceptable: add the row { kind: "a V3 exact-in of 600 USDT, then a WRAP_ETH of CONTRACT_BALANCE into the router, reads as on next", commands: [0x00, 0x0b], inputs: [V3_600, encodeWrapEth(ADDRESS_THIS, CONTRACT_BALANCE)], lines: [["Amount", "600.0000 USDT"]] }.
Follow-up notes, none failing:
A WRAP_ETH of CONTRACT_BALANCE into the router followed by a SWEEP of that WETH to another address moves all the transaction's ETH with no Moved from the sender line, the same as on next.
A WRAP_ETH of CONTRACT_BALANCE to another address as the first step reads Amount: Unlimited and has no Moved to line, the same as on next.
A SWEEP of ETH before a later WRAP_ETH of CONTRACT_BALANCE names the WRAP_ETH recipient for all the ETH, though the SWEEP took it. This is the same kind of case as the PR's second judgement call.
README.md does not say that Moved to can read The router.
Judgement call: I accepted that a WRAP_ETH of CONTRACT_BALANCE gets no lines after an UNWRAP_WETH into the router, even with nothing to unwrap, because the calldata cannot tell that shape from Uniswap's refund route.
Unverified: the issue has no plan comment, so I reviewed against its definition of done.
Unverified: Uniswap's routes were read from its SDK's main branch only, and nothing was run on a chain.

Manager's decision on #750 (comment). Findings 2, 3 and 4 stand as written. Finding 1 is real, but its fix adds more tracking to a decoder that has repeatedly missed cases this way, so it goes a simpler way. This changes the first item of the definition of done of #747.
The rework changes exactly this:
src/shared/uniswap.js: a WRAP_ETH into the router always reads Moved to: The router. That is always true, and it claims nothing about which step spends the WETH. Remove lastRouterWethSwapStep, wrapEthStep, wrapStep and the step argument this PR added to spendFromRouter(), and restore that function and its comment as on next. Other takes keep The swap step that spends it.
tests/uniswap.test.js: rows change to match. Do not add the two rows finding 1 proposes.
Findings 2, 3 and 4, in the wording they give.
README.md: one short sentence says that Moved to reads The router for a WRAP_ETH into the router.
Commit message and PR body match. Rebase onto current next, one commit.
It leaves alone: the CONTRACT_BALANCE line and its conditions, and every other line. The review's first three follow-up notes are not filed: each is a built-by-hand route that reads as on next, and the approval screen's Value line gives that ETH. The review's judgement call stands.
The next review checks the diff since 5dc24d2: the five items above, script/cibuild on the rebased head, and that Uniswap's own routes read as on next. It fails only if a line changed here is false of the calldata, or the rework breaks something it touches. Anything else is a follow-up note.
