The linter run in script/cibuild warns that gomodguard is deprecated and replaced by gomodguard_v2. The standard .golangci.yml in sneak/prompts has already made that change, and sneak/prompts#60 lists simplelog among the repos that must take the new file. This repo still carries the old one.
The linter run prints no deprecation warnings at all, not only no gomodguard one.
Any finding from the rules the new file turns on (the depguard test-support rule, the gomodguard_v2 block list) is fixed in the code, never in the config. If a finding can only be cleared by changing the config, stop and report it on this issue.
The full check is green.
