sneak	ec07fd1dc9	quak files COLLECTION fetches that collection's files alone (closes #217) ... `quak files COLLECTION` used to wait for a full refresh, which on an empty cache fetched the files of every collection first. It now reads the collection list, then calls the new `Library.refreshCollection()`. That brings one collection up to date in the store as a refresh would. Once the stored cursor is past 0, it only updates a collection the store holds. For a new one, `quak files COLLECTION` waits for a refresh. A refresh from a cursor of 0 replaces all the store holds, so collections then sit in the server's order. `open()` awaits the first refresh while the cursor is 0. The store lists what did not decrypt in a fixed order. Model: opus-5-5	2026-10-26 05:46:57 +00:00
clawbot	982b878d69	quak collections reads the collection list alone (closes #210) ... On an empty cache the read commands opened their library with a refresh that fetched and decrypted the files of every collection in turn, printing nothing and storing nothing until it had them all, so `quak collections` seemed to hang on a large account. The new `lib.freshCollections()` is the fresh read of the collection list alone: one request, and nothing stored, so a later refresh still fetches every collection's files. The read commands open their library with the new `refreshOnOpen: false` and make only the refresh they ask for. A refresh sends a "progress" event after each collection whose files it fetched; the commands that wait on one print it on stderr, except with `--json`. Model: opus-5-5	2026-10-18 19:01:34 +02:00
clawbot	f1836ced57	Fix two intermittently failing library tests (closes #90) ... Library.close() now returns a promise that resolves once the work it started has finished: an in-flight refresh with its cache write, the ML data fetch, and running precache sweeps. The interval test could see a refresh's new state, close, and remove the directory while the write was still running. Every library test and CLI command now awaits close(), and tests hold each of the three writes open to prove close() waits for it. The precache test waited for its stub source to be called, but the cache records a file only after checking it on disk, so status() could lag. It now waits for both fills to report "done". clawbot	7570055a5b	Library.open with a transparent background refresh (closes #42) ... Library.open loads metadata.json and serves reads from RAM: an empty cache awaits the first refresh, an existing cache returns at once and refreshes in the background so an unreachable server never stalls open(). A background timer refreshes every refreshIntervalSeconds (default 3), diffing only changed albums via the resumable cursor+tombstone enumerators and rewriting metadata.json only when something changed. A refresh failure is invisible to reads and surfaced via status()/onProgress; a failed save keeps status().lastError set and retries until one lands, so a stale disk is never masked. No sync()/refresh()/serverReachable surface; status() and close() included. Model: opus-4-8	2026-09-22 14:52:02 +02:00
