sneak	a8e7c119ae	fix: Blockscout and Etherscan lookups are off until the user turns them on (closes #668) ... Out of the box the wallet sent the user's addresses to Blockscout and each recipient to Etherscan. Two settings, "Use Blockscout" and "Check recipients on Etherscan", now gate those requests. Both are off in a new install and offered unticked on Welcome and in Settings. While one is off, the screens that relied on it say so in a plain line. Each gated request reads its setting from storage before it asks and when the answer lands, and drops a late answer. An open popup takes another page's change and draws its screens again. While "Use Blockscout" is off, no address keeps an untracked token, and no screen names a token from Blockscout's report. ENS lookups ask only the RPC endpoint. clawbot	93c34e1a2a	fix: a popup save no longer undoes a network switch the background saved during it (closes #641) ... The popup's saveState() and the background's updateState() each read the stored record, change it and write it back, each ordered only within its own context, so a write by one could land between the other's read and write and be lost. Both now hold the browser's lock (navigator.locks) from the read to the write, through withLock() in src/shared/browserApi.js, and the recovery screen's reset takes it too. A page in a Firefox private window gets locks of its own and is not covered. The lock also orders a page's own saves, so both per-context queues are gone. The unit tests get a small lock from a Jest setup file. Model: opus-5-5	2026-10-20 20:13:19 +02:00
clawbot	1144fdb71b	harden: key remembered site permissions by full origin (closes #402) ... allowedSites and deniedSites held the bare hostname, so a grant to https://dapp.example also authorised http://dapp.example and every port on that host, and the connection, transaction and signature prompts named only the hostname. Both lists now store and match the full origin (scheme://host[:port]), the key the connections approved without Remember already used. The prompts, the Settings site lists and AUTISTMASK_REMOVE_SITE use the origin too. Entries saved by hostname are not migrated (pre-1.0): they match no site. clawbot	a098bb0c32	fix: floor malformed allowedSites, fraudContracts and selectedToken entries (closes #362) ... A stored allowedSites whose value was not a list rendered a working popup and then made every subsequent save fail silently, so the user operated a wallet that persisted nothing -- worse than a blank popup, which is at least visibly broken. fraudContracts and selectedToken had the same shape: a container floored by truthiness or not at all, while its entries were dereferenced. Entries are now floored as well as containers, following the idiom #311 established, and a failed save raises a persistent banner instead of vanishing into a swallowed rejection. The per-field justifications that used to live in a hand-written header are replaced by a contract test that drives each field's hostile and falsy values through a real popup boot, so a claim about a field answers to the code rather than to prose. Its guarantee is stated narrowly and deliberately: no structural dereference on the code paths a wholly-corrupted profile takes, which is not every path a stored record takes. The paths it does not drive are named where the claim is made, and are tracked in #379.	2026-08-23 23:06:17 +02:00
